Both Pete and Karen grew up in small farming communities where hard work, integrity, and stewardship of the land were daily lessons. As active members of 4-H and FFA, they raised cattle, horses, and other livestock—building the foundation for the values that guide the ranch today. Their shared experiences instilled a lasting appreciation for the balance between people, animals, and the environment.

The ranch is managed by Karen, while her son, Tate, actively participates in land management and serves as a hunting guide. Meanwhile, her daughter, Devon, plays a key role in all financial operations. Pete and Karen take great joy in the prospect of passing the ranch down through generations. They also recognize the significance of supporting the local community and hope to give back to Nocona and the surrounding areas.
